The value for the money was outstanding, with a room that was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was perfect for exploring the Speyside whisky trail, and the staff at Cardhu Country House were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

It should be noted that the walls in the old Scottish house are on the thinner side, although noise levels are generally manageable.

I recently stayed in a beautiful country house in Aberlour and had an amazing experience! the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. the rooms were tastefully decorated and offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. the delicious breakfast provided a great start to each day, and the shortbread was a delightful treat. the location was also perfect, with plenty of walking trails and nearby distilleries to explore.

That there weren't many dining options within close proximity. Although the hosts were helpful in arranging a taxi, the cost of going to a restaurant and enjoying a few drinks added up.

The twin room had a private garden view, beautiful decor, and fluffy, crisp linens. the bathroom had soft robes and was well-designed. Valerie's breakfast and dinner were outstanding, like dining at a 5-star restaurant. the hosts made my stay amazing.
